~Hey hey hey~ Another useless movie review...

Frankly, this is rather unexpected. After mentioning the likes of Rodriguez and Tarantino, it wouldn't surprise me. This movie is fucking ridiculous! But in a good way... excellent, in fact! It's a double feature. Got my hands on the first, Planet Terror. Death Proof to come.

Spoofing horror flicks from the era of second-rated exploitation movies in the 80s, it starts out with a fake trailer on a fake ass movie, Machete, the grumpy Mexican assassin. It's straight zombie gore-fest after that. Basically, it features over-the-top ultraviolence, cheesy dialogues, and a storyline that'll leave you lifting a brow and scratching your head, presented in an out of focus movie projection effect complete with those annoying fuzzy lines and cigarette burns. You see, that's what make this movie so unique, because it's intended that way. Intended to suck. Well, it's the sucking part that makes it so much fun! Remember watching Tremors, The Fly, or Gremlins with them stupid rubbery puppets and animatronics on VHS or laser discs? Looking back now, they really suck and at times, hilarious(Chucky, you don't scare me no more). Got some of the most memorable scenes that'll make you laugh your pants off! And Fergie died another horrible death yet again. What a waste of a nice piece of @$$...

Do not question the logic after watching, because there are none. This movie is purely mindless fun. It may not appeal to the general audience, but it's definitely appealing to me, haha. And not for the faint of hearts. But for kids, this is perfect. Explosion, mutilation, disembowelment, and castration. Kids dig these kind of stuff.
